If the car is sat still for a while i.e. traffic lights then the engine bay will get full of hot air and your open cone induction kit will suck all that in and run poo. Get an enclosed kit or put standard box on. I'd put standard box on and drill it to get the induction noise personally.

What engine is it? I'm guessing you don't need one TBH.
Honestly, get a standard box and drill it! It sounds the same as an induction kit without the performance let-downs.
