hey , bit of a problem . when i go full throttle in first and change into second the gearbox grinds pretty bad . normal driving its fine just when i hammer it , engine is a standard x18xe
any help ? cheers

clutch worn? or synchros?

check the linkage for the gears as this is a common problem on corsas

you could be ripping it out of gear, making the syncro mesh wyne and grinding noise.

i dont think its wining. dosnt do it taking it out of gear only when i put it into second , shit gearbox

my brothers x18xe does the same thing, he's just got used to selecting 2nd a bit more carefully. Has yours always done it?

its only started doing it past couple of weeks , always found selecting third was a problem had to do it carefully, maybe its just a flaw on the gearboxes. cheers
