To see what car its assigned to? Im slightly confused. See this thread for a question I was asking on a private plate on my car http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=515827.

In short the lad about to buy the car off me tried to HPI it and he said it came up as some model of merc?! Cant see how this can be as the reg is on the log book and also on tax disc from june this year?

Please - reg is N200D. I suspect he may have been daft and entered M200D which I know for a fact a few years ago was on a merc but he was addiment it checked the correct one....

wtf - any idea how this is possible? Have got corsa log book here with the reg on. Aint seen the guy that put it on for me, he aint even in the UK any more. I had a speeding ticket back in 2005 and it came to my home address as expected :/

Just tried vehicle enquirey on DVLA site. (It asks for reg and make of car). Typed in reg (N2OOD) and set make to vauxhall and picks it up fine.

Tried putting N2OOD in again but with make set to merc incase there are duplicate records or something and finds no match....

Have already sent DVLA forms off to xfer the reg onto our lasses car so interesting to see what happens.
