I'm considering a twingo for a cheap runabout, sick of the shit economy in the corsa for a small car.

Pre facelift corsas are hurrendous for economy. Face 1.3CDTi or 1.7CDTi are the only decent C's on fuel.

Debating chucking an MOT on the corsa next week, then taking it off the road for a bit, leave it in the garage perhaps. Gives me time to tidy up the wheels and get a decent sale price I guess? Pain in the ass these new SORN rules.

I would tbh, purely because it will be hard to sell with mot and tax low (not impossible cos i sold my old C doing it) but does make it harder.

could make a project car or something

Plenty of power to be tapped in the twingo believe it or not, and seeing as I will be stuck with it for a few years... 100bhp standard, air filter, exhaust and remap see's 130bhp easily, fmic, clutch takes you further, and forged internals can see 170bhp I think I read. not bad for a 1.2
am I fuck doing conversions on the C I need the money from it to pay off some money from my credit card

I'm so tired of it, I wish I'd never bought it, it's a cracking little car don't get me wrong, but apart from the colour it does nothing for me any more
The idea was to buy a more sensible grown up car next... so what did I do? buy a french hot hatch with sports stripes doh!
spec wise it's 10 times better than my C in all honesty. Climate Control, iPod connection and control, bluetooth, 20k on the clock and all of about 0.4 seconds quicker to 60 oh and the seats are more comfortable

Tbf, any pre face C's are wank.
Only love mine because it's a facelift, it works and i love the colour. Was never a fan of your colour anyway
and tbf, the twingo's do have some poke to them so no fault as an upgrade.
