Hmm bad times, been too look at a few, really impressed, especially with the interior..

Anyway long story short after walking away from the dealer at the weekend, they called me today and offered me a deal i couldnt resist.

Put a deposit down, but now the Mrs is going mental and wont speak to me because its £15pm over the budget that we discussed. She also said i should of discussed 'this one' with her before hand. I was really excited about collecting it but now im just worried, doubt i can go back on it now either.

I think i just need a bit of motivation that ive done the right thing, it was one of them live for the moment things. We do have a mortgage etc that we both pay for and she has a mini that she pays £250pm for and i earn slightly more than her.

The car is an 07 plate, power red, 10,000 miles. Was marked up at £11,999. It had the 17 inch wheels.

The called me back to say they could do it for £11K flat, with 6 months tax included, they would put the 18s on it off another more expensive one they had in, free gap cover, mats and 12 months warrenty and give me £300 for my old banger runabout. Worked out at £248pm over 60 months with £500 deposit. We agreed on no more than £230pm.

thats also sounds expensive at 11k

That would mean a loss of 3.5k in 2 years for us which is superb

I know they would not trade at that price but 11k sounds expensive

5 years is a very long time, my aim is to try and save half towads a car then do the remaining half over 2-3 years.

60 months please don't live to regret that mate.

a lot of people get bored of their car after a year or two and end up still paying for a car theysold a few years back.

lovely cars though, prefer them in arden blue but they're all the same power at the end of the day

248 x 60 works out at 14880 so you're paying almost 4k on interest for the payments?

exactly

PCP would have been much better

Thats probably why they reduced it to 11k to make the difference on finance
