Who has a copy of vag-com and could tell wether or not my car has been remapped or not? preferably in the uxbridge, denham, harrow, watford area?

fit a boost guage that should tell you

yeah boost should tell

uprated dump valve would also give an indication

Only way vag-com can tell is taking readings and comparing them against normal.

What engine is it? Anything with a turbo you should be able to tell just by driving it.

yeah if its a golf turbo then if its been mapped it'll start aiming for the kurbs when you floor it lol

Not unless you've driven a standard one

Depends how 'aggressive' the map is, my S3 had an MTM remap, which was very aggressive, but fuck-me was it fast compared to standard ones, soon ate the clutch though which cost me £500
