well new to me anyway always wanted one and its something everyone should own at some point, plus i like the exclusiveness nowadays seeing as most have rusted away or been wrote off, plans are to tidy up the body first as its untidy in places with the odd bit of rust but should be worth it

Looks awful lol, my mates had bathroom blue ones and it just doesnt suit them!

Good cars to hoon in, and as far as rust and rot go, they dont really have the same troubles a ford/vaux have with tin worm of the same era

I love R5's, but I'm not keen on this sorry. R5's only look good when standard IMO, apart from wheels and lowered obviously. How much did you pay?

Id deffo get it painted in the standard black or grey if you can, then get the original side decals put on it too with a new front bumper and grille and standard bonnet lol.

De-chav it and you will have a nice car that will be worth something in the future.

To be honest, i think the colour is the best thing about it. Its like, or it may well be Riviera Blue.

not sure what the colour is having dificulty matching it, wouldnt really say it was chaved up as its standard body kit only things changed are bumper to accomodate intercooler, badboy bonnet and grill, the grill will prob get changed for a standard item coloured to the rest and bumper will be tidyed up or i may mount the intercooler behind a standard bumper and keep the car same colour

As you say though you can sort out the bodywork yourself, and if the engines good, they you should have a decent car.

The more i look at the pics, the more i'm sure that is Porsche Riviera Blue.
