just had another look throught this thread. Really good read, car has come on amazing! Shame about the bottom end mate, dont break the car

Well I finally decided to get a look at the Corsa tonight, to see for sure if the big ends were away.

So, I got it into the garage and jacked it up

Got the downpipe off of it, its a big fucker

Then removed the sump, and number 4 end cap.

The shell was ok on number four, and so was the crank, no scores ect.

I then removed number one sheel, which is where the damage was found.The crank was scored badly, and the shell was wrecked.

So its definetly fucked

I started to remove the loom ect to get the engine ready to come out.

Plans are to get the engine out soon and start again Jamie.

Already got a good crank there, so its just rebuild parts and an oil pump im needing.

Mines was hardly chapping Scott, could only here it when you went around roundabouts.
