For me it was DavCohens old 5Door XE GLS that my mate bought from him.
It wasn't the tidiest, the astra alloys hid the brakes and the exhaust had a standard looking tailpipe.
It went like the clappers, had many a laugh in that car we did.
I don't have any pics. maybe he does though??

what gives it away is big brakes, which i spotted on a standard broncade sport near me, soon found out it was a turbo when it launched from the lights..

Thats bullshit, it doesn't have to have a big spec at all. A sleeper is a car that looks next to standard but suprises you, as in, a bog standard corsa with an xe WOULD suprise a lot of other cars.

i agree its a sleeper yes, and it will suprise a 'few' cars, but even some newer diesels would keep up/beat them..
and he asked for the ultimate sleeper, and like ive said a few times now a standard corsa with an xe is no where near the ultimate sleeper :S

Maybe not the ultimate sleeper to you, but people have other opinions. You still wouldn't expect an old corsa to be so quick, which defines the word 'sleeper' in my eyes.

round here most corsa have a xe in it so its not like a wow thats fast, i agree a sleep has to be something that not everyone has like the r/m van, now if i pulled up next to that and it pulled away like that id be suprised to saythe least
