would hot soapy water do the trick for the residue underneath as i have ran out of tar remover???

wouldn't think so, if it's a corsa b then you'll probably need a caramel wheel? to sort it out.

i'm sure someone in projects forum has referred to it as a caramel wheel, so it's hardly worthy of a sig is it

oryt nice jokes boys,anyway iv removed the bumpstrips and the residue,and found that where they were has left a ligher colour of paint.anyway of getting rid of this?

stop being pedantic. i don't even work in the body work trade and had only heard it mentioned before as caramel wheel.

you can easily get the correct information from google by typing in ''caramel wheel''.

they have also been called eraser wheels too.

correct term is eraser wheel, toffee wheel and caramel wheel are just general terms, so your all correct, as for the different colour underneath if it doesn't polish up then will need painting

try blending it in with tcut either metallic or non depnding on your colour then wax, worth a try it worked well on mine
