Hi, anyone know what warrentys on a gen vaux oil filter?
After 6months / <2k miles mines broke the inner valve out, causing lack of top end pressure 
So thismorning cost my an oil and filter change/ forte top end treatment..
..hopefully my rattling wont remain permanant.
Worth a claim? or will they tell me i used the wrong oil, overtightened etc??

if you dont ask you dont get, but dont ask because they'll just say no. damand, and let then tell you what they can do. think that makes sence lol

I would say they would only offer warranty on a Vauxhall service, not have a go mechanics at home

Gez, in my experience demanding may have the oposite effect of what im after lol.
Danny, im a qualified mevh/technician.
Chris, no. but i do still have the filter.
Tbh, its no biggie as i dont pay for oil, the filter cost me £2.50 and we carry all forte products in stock.
Just more of an inconvenience
