Picked up my new car this morning, after a mega road trip from Aberdeen, 540 miles drive down to Reading, then back with my new mr2 turbo.
I had one of these beginning of last year and loved it, so i decided to go for this one when it came up for sale.
Wasn't sure about the t-bar before, but it's growing on me now.

nah nah, i've still got the evo, buying the mr2 was a spur of the moment thing, i was snooping the mr2 owners forum and noticed it for sale. i've always wanted a white turbo one.

You didn't buy it off a lad called paul did you? If so, that used to be round my way before he sold it to somebody down south.
Nice car, in good condition too.

bought it off a guy called marc, he had owned it for about 3 1/2 years. it has had one other owner, not sure where he was from though.

I remember I had a bit of fun with a black one a while ago. Was a good straight bit on a dual carraigeway in the middle of the night - the thing pulled away as if I was going backwards and when he lifted off the gas two massive licks of flame came out the back, quite possibly one of the coolest things I've seen. Found out from someone that it was running something like 400bhp, so that made me feel a bit better.

you can say that again. mid engine too, so when the back end steps out, it does whip the other way easily when you try correct it.
I was actually looking at these, I want something a bit more hardcore TBH than my current wip.
