ok, my engine is standard to fook. but can still beat 1.6 astra's 1.6 focus's 1.4 sxi corsa b's and c's, 1.8 picasso's and 2.2 turbo previa's lol. no honest.

ha ha I used think the same when I was caining around the place.. Then one of said cars would pass me like I was going backwards.. I did take a 1.3 rwd starlet going up a hill alright. He was 2 up, I was 3, and he had just rolling roaded the new engine @ 68 BHP.. So I must have had 69

well mine is supposed to have 64 brake but the 1.4's have got 85-b 95 -c i think, but yeah i think it's good, to be fair an old bloke had it before me didn't go in 5th ever, had it since new put 28000 miles on it, i bought it with that on the clock and it's an s reg! that was 11 months ago now it's just topped 50000 lol.

If your car is faster than a 1.4 then why are all the people who bought 1.4s spending more on fuel and insurance when they could have just bought your car?
What is more likely is that those people in those cars aren't racing you because they either don't know you're trying or they've decided not to because it's dangerous.
Or if they are trying because they're your mate then they need to learn to drive.
Your car is not developing more power just because its low mileage. A well cared for engine with twice that mileage will be just as powerful.
Look at the facts then reconsider how silly you look.
