Look for people breaking them on ebay - thats where you'll get most of your parts. I've got a kitted up Vitara. Know quite a few people with SJ's that use the 1.6 Vitara engine sucessfully; keep it light as that what makes them go anywhere.

Mate of mine rolled his SJ about 3 times last week.

Mate has one. Got it totally stipped out apart from two front seats. Takes it off road smashing it all over, right laugh.

ive got a 413.

a decent 3 inch lift kit, just shakles and a good set of off road tyres and your done.

My brother has just off set our wheels so have alot better stability, easy enough to cut out the centers and weld them further in.

good off roaders but i would advise making a cage as they can roill easily, i have rolled mine 3 times but we tend to go a bit mental and for anything.

If it's a 410, get some decent tyres and a roll cage and then play in it. If it's a 413, get some decent tyres, a roll cage and a lower ratio transfer box and then play in it. They're great trucks and don't really need any mods. Kap Suzuki are good for roll cages/lifts etc.
