The Vento TDI I have is on its way out. I'm doing less miles now so am wondering what to get now.

Can be a hothatch etc, whatever. The smarter the better as I'm fed up of driving a rust bucket!

What would you go for? Any suggestions?

anything for £500-£600 wont be very good... but if you hunted about for a bit you could probably pick up an older 1.6 sport for that. nippy and corsa's clean up well

Ive had a few run abouts. An automatic 1.6 Rover Coupe. Fucking fantastic. Worked everytime on the button, not a fault. That cost £480. Also had a EG Civic 1.6 ESi. £400 was also a minter and sold on for the same money. Loads of good cars to be bought for your budget.

ive got a little fiesta diesel if your interested on an M plate, tax till sept mot till april next year i think...
body work isnt the best but it drives nice and is economical being a 1.8 diesel.. yours for 400ono

12v or 1.2 16v Corsa. Can't go wrong if it has been looked after imho.
