Over the past few years ive had a Lupo GTi, Brabus coupe Roadster, Mini Cooper S Works and a Clio 182. Ive recently bought a house and sold the car to free up some cash. Im now ready to get myself another car but the thing is i have less each month to spend now on running costs etc and so wouldnt be able to afford any of the above again, this leads me to...

How much would you say in total to:

a. Buy a tidy Corsa C
b. Buy a good quality 2.0T
c. Fit b into a.

I understand i would need other parts as well as the engine/gearbox such as brakes/suspension etc but im after a rough estimate.

Do many people on here own 2.0T corsa C's? Is reliability an issue? Was it worth the hassle?

Thanks for looking.

My Brother has fitted a 1.6T in his Tigra but we have never done anything like this on a newer car like the C so we would perhaps take out the old engine but then hand it over to someone who knows what their doing to fit the new engine. Brakes, Suspension etc i can do no problem.

Ive had a quick look on PH and it would seem that i could get hold of a suitable Corsa C for between £1-1.5k.
