Anybody know if these are interchangeable?
I've found one guy on SCN that said he fitted leon springs but that's it, was surprised loads of people hadn't asked.
Spring kits I find seem to have different part numbers, although only slightly different.
As far as I can see they should be exactly the same but would be nice to get a 100% answer.
This is all because I've thought my brakes are warped for weeks, took the wheel off last night and the front drivers spring has cracked
Just waiting for it to fail and me to crash driving to work
It's £40 for one toledo spring or I can get a cheap set of lowering ones off ebay for under 80, I'll not be keeping it for long so I'd rather get 4 cheap ones for 80 than one seat one for 40.

I'd be fairly certain off a standard Leon they'd be the same. Not 100% though. I'd still go with the 4 cheapy ones for £80 though if your getting rid. New springs all round can go in the ad

toledo is a leon with a boot.
front will 100% be the same, rears will have a different load rating hence the idfferent part numbers

I can't see why the fronts would be different...
Dunno about the rears though

Got a set off ebay for a toledo for £75 so I'll never find out the answer. Expecting them to be crape but we'll see. To richc, I personally don't know why you'd want to lower anything, I assume the same sort of of people who lower corsas, or bora's would though.

I can see the point lowering cars.
I just cant see the point lowering a toledo. You say you want to sell it soon. The sort of people who buy diesel toledos are the 'older' generation and want a comfortable ride whilst doing lots of mpg carrying a boot full of tat.
Lowering it want do anything for the sale of the car!

Rich he didn't say how much the lower the springs would make it. 10-20mm would improve the ride. It rolls like a boat anyway. I doubt the new owners would notice and if so they can change them back at their own cost.

I didn't say I was selling it, I said I would be geting rid soon. I'm well aware of what's desireable to what market.

Can't see why they wouldn't. As already said, Toledo's are essentially Leon saloons! Would guess that maybe things such as poundage rates are the main difference?
