have been self employed as a joiner for about a year now, when first got layed off the firm i was working for i signed up to a few agencies, got a bit of work from them which has helped but not heard anything from them for 6 months until today when they have phoned up with about a months work, great apart from they want me monday which is a bit short notice tbh as i have a few jobs penciled in for next week and a couple of quotes. what do i do as i could do with the agency work as its good money and guarenteed for a month but i dont want to go cancelling the jobs i have for next week and give my business a bad name, after next week i wont have any work unless some of the quotes i do become available so the agency work would keep me ticking over and its good to be getting work as things are atm. i think really i should concentarte on my own business as the agency work is only temp but i just dont really know what to do for the best, either way i feel id be doing the wrong thing. opinions?
