Recommend a 125 for an * experienced learner. They've ridden for years off road and Trials with my family but now at teh age of 26 want to sort a bike license.

I recommended a CG125 as that's what I learned on way back when; however she's adamant whatever she has must have a front disk at least and the only CG125s with a disk are 2005 or newer and too expensive for a learner bike.

Doesn't want to spend over £1000, the lower the better - I don't think it'll take her long to pass, then she'll shop it in for something else anyway.

So requirements

125
less than £1000
must have front disk
must be able to re-sell

Dosn't want a Mito/RS Style bike as they're meant to be a nightmare on things liek turn in the road

Just had a quick search; Can't find a DT 125 under that price? but that style or YZ (or any other crosser) would probably appeal she's ridden trials/MX for years so MX type bike would be good

kmx 125 or dt 125 will go for ever, very reliable bikes, but not that fast and depends what they want it for.

a good road one is a cbr125 but duno how much they are going for.
