If I were to sell the clio, Id have about 3.5-4k for a car, but what would you get for that sort of money? I cant see anything else that really compares. The only problem I have with the clio really is reliability and build quality. Its a shame golfs are still so expensive, what else could you recommend around that price range? Literally anything...

Clio is just an every day car now, only reason I got a cup in the first place was for its capability on track, but I doubt il use it for that again.

Half the budget, buy a Defender/Discovery, spend the rest on the MX5 and tow it to tracks.

147s look affordable, god knows what they are like as a car though. I can see myself getting bored very quickly.
