ashley to me, judging by the fact it looks mild steel, and has the same collectors as my old ashley manifold,

raceland's are stainless.

Aye I'm sure raceland are stainless steel and that certainly isn't. Don't know otherwise though

looks as though it may have been painted in heat proof black anyway (not sure wether it is done when made because it looks pretty solid) so i whipped out the magnet and its not stainless.

Yup, think so. Im pretty sure its a janspeed item, but would need someone else to confirm.

The one you posted looks to have been heat wrapped at some point too, surely no point in painting it AND heat proofing it, have a look at janspeed manifolds on google.

it was heat wrapped at one point, then it was ripped off due to age and could have been painted. was not on my car so i dont know if it got painted or not. will have a look on google

Janspeed looks different. 16v janspeed looks similar though?
