Anyone got them?
Do you get much trouble from the police? Only want one on the front.
Its a £30 fine isn't it?
Any pictures of them on pre97 bumpers ?
Also what size are 3/4 plates?

I had mine on for well over a year without any trouble

A friend recently went on a driver training course thing (the ones the police offer instead of points and a fine) and they told him that his german plates were illegal and it is now a £60 fine

If you go to fancyplates.com > design online > fancy plates > [complete first step] > then on the second step you can choose to have a 3/4 plate.
If you need the measurements then i can go measure mine

no offence to anyone, but i dont see the point of smaller number plates. on a corsa anyway. if you havent got the number plates recess flushed your just left with a big gap each side of the number plate where the recess is. everyone to their own tho

I prefer the 3/4 because it fits in the recess, where as the standard one looks oversized.
IMO

I'd just leave it standard. Why bother risking points for something like that, plus it looks shit imo.

more paint on show can only be a good thing.
I think it says the size of the plate on fancyplates.com?

Looking at the ones above though, my lettering is the correct size, just the plate is trimmed around the letters, the ones above have smaller letters by the looks of it??

Any incorrectly spaced plate will now be dealt with, the pnc checks that the traffic cops have cant read the plate so as soon as that flashes up you will get pulled. Ive got legal pressed plates and had two coppers discussing about whether or not they were ok. After checking the requirements i was allowed to go

I'm pretty sure if you have a 3 and 3 letter/number plate you only need to allow 11mm right and left margin. The 3/4 plate should be therefore legal if the spacing etc is correct.

But the text is 75% the size of a normal plate so a 3/4 plate is still illegal.
Its an exact copy of a full size in every respect but everything is reduced by 25%.
