I think you need 60 profiles for 14's, I have 70's on my 13's.

i needed to run spacers at the front on my sport wheels because it touched the shocks, it also rubbed on the arch liner too
i'd get a lower profile tyre put on them or not go quite so low as the rolling radius is actually huge on standard sport wheels/tyres

i dropped my coilies down to what i estimated to be around 75mm drop and there is no way it would have done speed bumps it even scraped on the road when i went down the dropped kerb. . . needless to say it is now higher than that

Scrapping coming off the drive doesn't mean you cant go over speed humps.

any one ever had experience of being to low? steelies are thinner than my alloys, not by much though and im guessing ill have to remove the archliner to get the clearence.
any help would be apppreciated, because i dont think this is going to work without spacers, pulling/ rolling arches etc

165/55/14 will be better than what you have, but you will probably still need spacing at the front because of the offset of the wheels and camber. tyres range from £38-£70 for this size
you could buy some camber adjusters for around £20 but the standard tyres might catch the inner arches/arch lips depending on how low you go.

mine does on standard wheels, hence why i used 10mm spacers, but the standard 185/60 tyres are balloons tbh.

think the tyre is 165 / 70, but i have no idea , might just leva e it as it is, which is a shame, whats the worst that can happen if i do this withe aloys on? i see visions of crashing, bl;owing tyres, breaking car etc

this will happen if you don't space them... lol
6mm or 10mm spacers will do the trick.
