when building/buying a car do you tend to go for looks or performance if its your everyday day?
obviosuly we all would love something that looks great and performs great aswel but if you had to choose, what would it be?

Bit of a poop question really, as everyone on the forum is into cars, so which ever the car lacks, the person would improve.

Exactly that. If was a quick shitter, I wouldn't own it. If it was a stunning 1ltr, I wouldn't own it.

agreed about not wanting to own a stunning 1litre however, a quick shitter is going to be fun because noone is going to expect it to be quick

Yip, having a proper shitter sleeper would be good occasionaly.
The guy in the better car still has the last laugh though.

Performance over looks for me would be something like a westfield megabussa - or maybe thats more performance over practicality
Looks over performance would be dificult as i'd not own a car with a lawnmower engine no matter how fucking charming it looked!!

I would drive a shit car that was rapid fast just to see the looks on peoples' faces.
But in the real world, a mixture of both. But things like the bumper on my car sitting a bit further down on one side than the other, or the fact I'm missing a rear toe eye cover don't really bother me.

I like a clean tidy car, doesnt have to look anything special. But it does need to be awesome down a country B road.
