Iv been offered a modified black corsa B.
Its a nice car but it has a few little niggles i want to clear up before i want to rush into anything.
The accelerator pedal seems pretty stiif. I think this maybe a common thing with vauxhalls as a few that iv drove have the same thing. Whats the solution ?
When going over a bump there seems to be alot off play in the steering. Whats the solution for this.
The car is a w reg with just over 100k miles on the clock. its supposadly haad a sh*t load off money spent on the engine but im yet to see the receipts. 12 months mot but no tax.
How much is the car worth ?
I have no pictures. but all i want to know is, how easy are these problems to overcome and hhow much will it set me back ?

if its modified list the spec too, certain mods could change certain characteristics imo.

could be wrong but
sounds like a 1.0 12v cause of the pedal and mine was stiff lol iirc all 12v's are like that just get use to it, also the play in steering wheel could be steering UJ... not too bad (200 ish) if you get the part yourself and have a garage fit it 350+ if not.
Mate thats a guess so dont take my word on it

well its been lowered. not sure by how much im told its a corsa sport 1.6 16v its got silly wolfrace alloys.

Pedal stiffness sounds normal mate, all the corsa B's Ive drove have been the same. Feels really wierd at first if you've been driving a newer car previously.

Yeah my throttle's quite stiff, although I have driven a diesel Corsa where it needed a ton of bricks on it to make it move at all.
I prefer it kinda loose and smooth really, find it easier to balance the revs, as with mine it's ok then it'll shoot up
