Was at work today and on the way home i stopped off at a petrol station and realised on the way out someone had obviously reversed into my front and dented in my bonnet which must of been when i was parked at work. I know what car was parked in front of me for most of the day but there was no note left or nothing and im not 100% it was them.
The car was a Silver citreon C2 i believe but i do not know the owner nor have i seen it before. Im PREYING when i go back 2mrw there will be some CCTV evidence but if not... wtf can i do? Fuck all by the looks of it.
I could report it to police i suppose? Im going to keep a look out for the car 2mrw see if i can get a plate as well as ask the building near for any CCTV footage.
Ill get a photo later. Too tired / pissed off to bother right now.

Report it to the police and they'll get the evidence for driving off after an accident, although technically they have 24 hours to report it.

No not you, the other party. They can report it up to 24 hours I believe. Go down the local station or wait until tomorrow and get the CCTV yourself from work. You may also want to consider ringing your insurance company but they'll ask about if you have reported it also probably.
