As some of you may know I have recently put a deposit down on a new car, and now I need to sell my corsa, however due to my folks re-furbing the ground floor of the house I can't find my folder which has most of my car stuff in

I've checked on the DVLA website and they say it's £25 fee - but my question is how long will it take to turn up? Some people say it can be months! I just want to get a rough idea so that I can plan ahead for selling the corsa (when to put adverts up etc)!

Thanks in advance!

Ok thanks for the replies guys, I think my best bet is to ask the person I speak to on the phone when I get it copied over!

I was going to ask if I should bother getting one or not but when I sell the car I will need to send the log book off and the buyer will need the new keeper bit!

It depends on how you apply for it, think its about a week if you pay for it over the phone and can take up to 6 weeks if you use the form from the post office
