well today i made a start putting bottom end back together, got the crank back in

lovley torque wrench


bearings all de greased


shells in, assembley lube applied and mains studs in


crank in, mains caps on and torqued down

we have the longer one of that wrench at work ... and that was around £300 iirc

took a trip down south today to see young matthew and his engine building.



















we had our own pvs









had a look at the other parts manners has. its all top notch and i cant wait to go down when the engine is getting put back in. thanks for the 19 cups of tea manners.

well i got more done lastnight too, got sump on

cleaned the baffle and sump up




fitted the lovley sbs pickup pipe


and sump back on, looks wierd seeing it as a engine again lol

that pic up pipe looks worlds apart from the last mess.

Do you have a pic of the oil pump before to show the mod to get it to fit? Or is it as simple as just cutting off a bit that pokes out?
