bmw 1 series up to 120 on a private road 
dunno what engine, was diesel though as shit loads of black smoke was coming out the back

Like racing a 1.2 8v Vs a 2.0 16v Turbo corsa, except the corsa is 4x4, has paddle shift box, and about 300bhp over standard..
MEGA ownage.

My mate had a 07 plate 1.1 colt, and my god didnt it go for a 1.1
Lad at college also as the older shape, a 1.4 and that dont go too bad either

Even with the XE you would have a tough time shaking it as they're 170bhp aren't they
I thought there was an A3 behind me one very early morning on the way to Rosyth, so dropped a couple of gears and went for it in the XSi. At 120 (km/h) he was still right behind me, so I pulled into the inside lane and it disappeared like a bat out of hell  It shows how tired I must have been as it was no other than an RS4

what engines/bhp are they? must have had a fair bit of torque because on an uphill road it pulled quite a bit on me, then managed to drag her back in once on a flat straight it started to go backwards.

would've been that then as the 0-60 was almost identical to mine, and i have 75 odd bhp more than the 120d and approx 35 lb/ft more torque.
that's mighty impressive for a diesel

Never said I thought it was slow  I was suprised HOW fast it picked up speed, how quickly it went through the box, and how it owned a V8 R8 as well
