paid £800ish this last year, thats half the year on the B 1.5TD and the rest on the 1.4SRi (I think it went up £80 when I bought the C) but this year I've had my best renewal quote of £564 fully comp. Worst quote I had was like £8k - yeah okay

You lot thought the £1300 rise for lowering -40mm on springs was steep right?
I was doing quotes with my current ensurer, on my current car, to see what it'll be when I have 2 NCB. However when renewal is up, I'll no longer be a student. So my renewal was about £500, fair enough, as a student. However when I change it to marketing assistant (or any non-student profession for that matter) it jumped to £1700.

Seriously though, I tried everything, even removing the alloys, it didn't change.
I will be changing when I renew either way to the high street broker dad has gone with for years and can normally beat anything.

i find elephant and admiral are best for me, the only other company that has given me a lower quote is a specialist company called greenlight insurance.
