So when i was looking around for my 1.6 engine i head loads tapping/smoking on start up.
The one i have does not do this at the moment, anything i can do other then regular services, to help prevent this?

tapping is normally the hydralic lifters and smoke depending on colour wud be valve stems perrished...if we are taking about a 1.6 corsa (X16XE)???
