Looked at a few cars, going to look at one tonight or next week. 2001 Punto HGT 1.8 16v will be fine for around MK round abouts little nippy. Sat nav and multi stack CD optional extras inc... 58k on the clock.

Anyone had any experience with these? I jsut need a run around for a year or poss 2 depends on the house situation

Fairly fast, just look out for usual Fiat issues, electrics, knocking suspension.

My mate has a Punto HGT. It picks it feet up! Quite a lot of pull from the bottom end of the revs, and quite a revvy engine too!

Gearboxes are soft, so be sympathetic with them, also, knocking suspension which has been mentioned above.

Speaking of variators, my mates on with getting another one for his!! Sounds like a diesel for a few moments when started up. (couple of seconds)
