it will flame if you have it in an utter massive state of tune that you need to over fuel to make it run properly.

Not unless you run a wasted spark ignition setup and dump extra fuel in on the overrun.

my 1.4 used to kick flames out on the limiter ! so im sure a xe will do the same

Dunno wether itl work on your xe but my friend used to rev till about 6 or 7 thousand then switch his ignition on and then back off
Aslong as your engine is silly hot it shoud flame up a boit

only works on carbed engines, gives an almighty bang when you flick the ignition back on. Used to do it on the highstreet all the time on the R1

my 20xe is on carbs and has wasted spark ignition. It does love to pop and bang on overrun

But to want to do it to impress the kids in Maccys is uber chav!


I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Heat wrap the whole exhaust system and itl shoot flames for fun.
Or fit a "flamer kit".

just make it run lean on overrun

will pop and flame all the time, my 1.6 on tb's used to all the time on standard managemnet

Dizze it worket onmy mates old 1.8 celica and that wasnt running carbs
Also corsa_sport if you heat wrap the whole exhaust system surley that cant be gd for the cooling side of things?? Wont itjust make your engine overheat majorly

Buy a 106, stick a 4-2-1 manifold and decat straight through system. That'll pop flames all day
