My old one far from being a show standard car but was quick as a GSI if not a tad quicker and was still the 1.5 without an intercooler

My first corsa was a naturally aspirated 1.7

Started like this - completely bog standard

After it looked like this

All I did to it was smooth the bumpers, add an irmscher front lip, smoked depos on the front, smoked side repeaters, smoked rear lights and a remus 3inch tail pipe. Inside i put a set of sport seats in the front, a new steering wheel and gear knob.

Hope this helps

You could buy the Corsa B SXi with a 1.5TD engine back in the day, very rare though.

i used to drive mine hard every day and it just asked for more, never had one single problem with it, this is running nearly 3 times factory boost

I didnt do anything to the engine at all. I did consider dropping a 1.7td lump out of a Cavalier/Astra F but that plan never took off. It was by far the most reliable car I have ever owned. I had it 3 years and the only problem I ever had was the alternator stopped working. I was running two amps though so quite a lot more strain on it than normal.

Yeah it quite clearly had some very serious issues as it was only a month old. Imagine its pretty rare for that to happen.

Vauxhall gave him a brand new Astra 1.7TD INTERCOOLER () out of it as Dad said he didn't want another Corsa after that
