hello all ive got a corsa b 1996 1.4 sport i recently rimmed the tank full drove 300 miles or so and its ran out of fuel petrol gauge still shows full and has never moved im wondering will it be the clocks or the sensor as i dont want to go and buy clocks until i find out what it is anybody any ideas oh and is it electric or does it have a speedo cable

if the speedo starts at zero its electric, but if it starts at 10 it cable.

bet the sender is stuck or nackered.take it out and have a look,move the float up and down with the ignition on and see if it works.
