Ace day out. Deffo advise it for motorsport enthusiasts. Lots and lots of money in kit there. Its a full day out, we got there at 8.45am and didn't leave until 4.30pm, and it was still going on. Some very unique and rare cars, a lot of which I tried to spot. Great getting so close to so many cars and bikes, including seeing some of the cars I used to watch as a young wippet..

Passed a Nissan GTR on the way and the traffic slowed for a while so he was around me, no playing.. He kept booting it off roundabouts so when it got a little open I nailed it.... Needless to say, the GTR is pretty bloody quick, I darted into a smallish gap, and it passed me, and I shot back out again without coming off throttle. GTR 1 - VXR - Ass OWNED on a platter... Not seen one before (plenty there though), gearshift is so damn fast, it just bloody flew... Hmmm £56k yeah???

All pics are still uploading, theres about 150 odd when fully uploaded.

Piccccieeeeessssss

Ace day, £48 each, but a good day out. Bring your own food though Pricey

I'm only 15 mins away! Been 3 or 4 times but before the rally stage opened. May make it my aim to be there next year.

Agreed. Best enthusiast car show full stop.
I didnt realise it was £48 for entrance though?! Saying that, comparing the cost to football tickets are near enough that, and thats only 2hrs entertainment.

Best car show on earth.

My tenth year and just brilliant as ever, but as ever, utterly impossible to see much more than about half of what's there.

Bloody forearms are on fire today.

JR - You was working wasn't you? Went to the audi stand, Donna lurrrves the TT RS in white My old man was working (well looking around ) so he couldn't leave till around that time. He'd been there all weekend.

SVM, aye, forearms are a little toastie today too

Tom, hybrid sportscar, didn't get another shot but there were a couple there. Looks bloody nice tbh.

Bryon, yeah its quite expensive, gone are my days of free tickts to shows But as you say, compared to a football match (or even worse internation rugby ) its not too bad. We're just ants though, its all for the Lord such n such's "chums" what what what ya. Gives the public a chance to really get close to some stunning machinery.

I got a few short clips to upload, just for the engine noises

I'd say that's the only negative thing i've ever felt too Daimo.

If you're not some silver spoon toff and especially if you're properly skint, you really feel like there's quite a 'them and us' thing going on.

We are the peasants paying a levy to the land owner.

I try to ignore this by letching at stunning wormen and enjoying the cars.

That was electric iirc.

Double barrelled English name like Frazer Nash too.

Very odd.

mate of mine with p4 vx220 similar to mine had a play with gtr last week, said in and out of traffic they stuck together for 5+ miles! i know its not a propper "test" but i would be little upset if my 56k nissan gtr for not showing up the plastic vauxhal that cost 8k, hehe!
