Yesterday i went down to Mallory Park for a trackday with a work mate and his old man I'd taken my Ducati 748 (which i'd put track bodywork on), my mate was on his Suzuki GSX-R 750 and his dad was on his Honda VFR800. It was my first one in four years since i was last racing/trackdaying so put myself in the novice group just to get upto speed again.
Should have gone into the intermediate group really as there were so many who really didn't know how to ride on a track! Some were just plain dangerously slow while others just sat in the middle of the track everywhere!
The weather wasn't brilliant, but it stayed dry for most of the seven 20 minute session. It was very warm and humid which made it uncomfortable but once riding i wasn't too focussed on that. It did start to rain a little before my sixth session and the track was slippy in places, but the colour of the track surface isn't black, so was hard to tell if it had dried out or not so didn't really go fast in that one.
Overall though was an awesome day! Made me wonder why i gave it up to begin with and has me thinking if riding on the road is worth it for the amount of enjoyment i had from the day! Those of you with bikes should deffinately get booked on one quick!

I went on a track today but was a little more muddy than that, and also i fell off but no damage so all good!
duno why but a fast sports bike like that doesnt really appeal to me, my old CBR400 was enough and it was uncomfterble.
Maybe a Kawsake Z750 some time.
What track was it btw?

My mates were out aswell on the bikes we have at uni...R6 and a CBR600.
