the rust isnt actually that bad under the car, most of the bad stuff is on the petrol tank, a lick of anti corrosion paint under there would finish it off, not sure how bothered about it all you are though lol
where did you get your front braided hoses from? £?

Yeah was thinking about changing the tank given I can probably get something smaller/lighter/less susceptible to surge at the same time.
I'm half bothered. Don't really want to spend money sorting it out for cosmetic reasons but it would also be handy to know what parts are weak or ready to fail.
Front hoses came with the brakes. Rears were in stock off Stes kit car, he ordered a full set but only needed the fronts for his. I'll get him to reply with the name of the supplier.

Yes, glad I went for the bigger ones as they do give a bit more room to wind the suspension down if necessary. Or fit bigger wheels perhaps. Either way, good mod.

think i might change my 12.5mm spacers to the 20mm ones now, and fit 15mm hubcentric spacers on the front, then that will be my frp track width matching almost done

Piece of cake, jack the back up and get under it with a 17mm socket, undo these bolts -
Drum will come off, support the weight of it, fit the spacer, swap the bolts for the longer ones which Ford also supply, bolt everything back on.

Edit to say you might need to whip the damper off with the bolt at the bottom to move it out the way depending whether you have an extension bar or not.

also get ready to buy new abs sensors as you will ened to remove them to fit the spacer and they usually dont come out without breaking, although you might get lucky is someone had the sense to copper grease them when they were fitted

i always manage to break things though, which end up being sod's of a job to fix
