Yeah i seen on Regal remap is supposed to add 15bhp, but no doubt its a bit less.

I take it you have some better brakes for sale tbh i dont mind the brakes, im used to a 1.6 Sport with shite front brakes and drums on the back lol.

no regals map would do, these engine actually make a increase of power with a remap

from being in a few of these cars, if you dont want to spend mega money,

get some cams
remap
lightened flywheel
and cat back

145bhp-150bhp

yeh i do..

Sweet, was looking at cams in TV other day, not too pricey are they. I need to start saving.

cams, you can use 1.6 cams

rather than paying out for special 1.8 ones, get a second hand of x16xe ones!

Not much of an upate.

Car was knocking when i got it. Knew it was CV boot, replaced boot, still knocking so realised it was the joint, hardest thing to get hold of, ever! No where stocked them, vaux dont make them no more, so was going to end up getting a full shaft, Vaux wanted £460 +VAT for a shaft Andrew Pages wanted £80+VAT for a recon one. My mate came to the rescue and managed to get me a joint for £50 and fit that, along with another new boot for a tenner, so £60 all in and fitted.

Also handbrake only locks on one side, after looking at that my mate tells me i need a NSR caliper, as they have a tendancy to seize, he tried to free it, but not having none of it. MOT in Oct, so need new caliper for that, and whilst im at it going to chuck a set of rear pads on, might go for the Green Stuff ones too if i can strech to that

Cheers mate, wheels are coming off soon for re-furb, lighter colour though, maybe the Zetec-S Grey, like Graham's Fiesta.
