My insurance technically ran out last night at midnight, if i don't do anything will my insurance just carry on as normal for another year..

you should have got a letter from your ins co.

usually it says in the letter if you dont reply i renews automatically.

Not until you have paid for it, I wouldn't have thought so. Have your insurance company not contacted you to renew? If not you better get onto them!

I've just found my renewal notice. First line says '... couldn't be easier, just do nothing'

I need to ring them to make some changes anyways, cheers guys.
