When you are 21 you an take a direct access course which I think is probably your best option.

you need to do your cbt again, they only last two years.

then you need to pass the motorbike theory exam

wait till your 21 so you can do a DAS(direct access) course....

when you pass that you can ride whatever you want..

not sure how the new test works though

I think kano, vxr, me and fi3lipsipsi3ilipi33ls have started something here

Please research or read other threads. Its avalible on DSA website. Its the first one on google.

Wait a couple of weeks, do your direct access, and ride what you want. Simple. Your eligable to ride nothing atm

£550 is cheap for the DAS course, it's at least double that anywhere i've tried up here.

thats what i payed anyway

£450 for the advance 2day course and the two tests
£80 cbt
£31 theory

so its £561 actally

still alot of money mind, that could have payed for my insurance! and im glad i passed first time, could have gotten expensive then as re-test is £70 plus whatever training centre charges to use there bikes and time, etc

Redo your CBT, Do your theory, then book some DAS lessons then book the test. Now its a 2 part test for the practical.
