Increase the distance between you and any possible hazard giving yourself more time to brake so he doesn't go into the back of you then either pull over or slow down and signal for him to overtake.

Only thing i can safety think is out braking on the corners but then you run the risk of entering to quick and coming out slower with him glued agen

you need anti lag, a few flames on downshifts would keep them off your bumper

Yes, if he is behind you up your arse then he is clearly quicker through the bends. Why be a twat and hold him up, on a straight indicate pull to the side, take your foot of the accelerate and let him pass then slot in behind.
I get this all the time on track. My cars pretty good through the bends but I struggle on the straights. If I'm gradually catching somebody up I expect them to have used their mirrors and seen this, then when I'm close they move over and let me pass.

Take your foot of the accelerator and let them pass, if their that quicker they will disappear, if not; let the race begin!

If it's a track day racing is not part of it. It's about having fun in your car..........
But a little bit of racey driving never hurt no one.

Wire up a switch for your brake lights for use on the straights

Switch is more fun. My boss did that when he used to build old jags for racing. Wired in a switch so when you went into 4th (overdrive) the brake lights came on

Let them start off in front would work.Theyr obviously quicker in the corners so you wouldnt have to much bother sitting on there bumper.
