I bought a door from a breaking cup, the guy told me it was mint and he could wrap it if i arranged a courier. Got the door today and a couple of the edges have been exposed, the paint has been worn off and one of the edges is bent and damaged the paint on the face of the door. So fed up.

It always seem the way with these sort of parts. Best to go collect things your self if possible. Couriers smash parcells around

can you no put a claim in from the courier like you can do with royal mail?
if there is no insurance then whats the point in paying for a decent courier? may as well tie it to 6 carrier pigeons tbh.

I can claim against the courier and i will. Even if the edge of the door was exposed, i must have taken some force to bend it like it has been. The guy who sent it promised me he had used couriers on doors before as he works in a bodyshop. Hmmm. Going to go take some pictures.

Its like a really small bend on the corner, but bent round enough for the paint to come away.

We send out about 70-100 parcels a day through TNT, and the driver told me that before the goods reach our customer they go though about 12 different sets of hands, which is why stuff gets damaged all the time...

Maybe, would need to be repainted though. May aswell get a new door in that case. Its pretty useless now, I mean I could use it, but I dont want a damaged door on my car, thats the point of replacing it.
