how does it depend on fuel prices? a full tank is a full tank, no matter how much the fuel costs

unless you mean you drive harder when petrol is cheaper?

Since the thread has already had it's abuse, i'll add my 1.6 Pug 307.

50 litres will get me 500 miles taking it easy. Usually see 450 miles on an average week to a tank.

I'd be right pissed off with 350 miles

50 litres in the Golf (1.9 TDi)goes just over 500 miles, but I don't drive it carefully.
The same driving in the Laguna burns 66 litres of petrol in about 380 miles

47litres full to empty tank

all depends how far down the tank you go, some chicken out when the red light comes on, i personaly like to play the game, and i have failed before!

standard 1.6 sport, with wr 5th gear managed 49mpg 480miles, which was driving motorway at 55-60mph!

normal my driving used to be 330ish - 33mpg

new one is doing 27mpg, with some flat out, other time doing 60mph!

240miles to 39litres

strangely the most I think I managed to get out of my C is 270miles, I'm not quite sure why, whether the water pump on the edge of dying would have something to do with it or me just having a lead foot lol.
