Do they look a bit old and dated now

I cant decide myself; thinking about the m3 evo convertible in estoril blue; im just not sure if it looks out of date or a classic

I personally prefer the e46, but it sure still is a nice car, if you could see yourself driving it what the hell go for it

Oh yeah i know that

Just the e30 is a classic, the e46 m3 is that much diff in looks to the stock; but the e36 just doesnt have the same wow factor in

As long as it's that blue, completely standard and completely mint i.e. one a BMW dealer would consider touching, then one of them would be awesome, and look a lot less dated than one that is a complete pig.

It'd have to be MINT for it to look like you have bought a potential classic. Rather than look like you are desperate to have an M car and the E36 was all you could stretch to.
