building up a corsa with a view to hopefully doing a few track days and for general back road blasting, have fitted x16xe with de-cat plus straight through pipe and upgraded inlet manifold plus air filter so its pokey enough, i know to get a bit quicker acceraltion stipping interior out would be good idea but i dont know how mad to go, car is daily driver but ony about 6miles to work so can live with it been noisy inside im really thinking about it looking a bit rough inside if i remove all trims, headling etc. i have fitted a rear strut brace and located battery to boot so do i remove the lot bar dash fit some buckets and harnesses plus a cage but dont know what it will look like when its all out?? any pics of yours like this? dont really want to have to spray inside to get a good finish but is this the only real way to go? cheers

Unless you go seriously balls out i dont think you'll notice much difference. Just phsycologically faster. In your position i'd take out the rear bench and parcel shelf and use subwoofer carpet to trim the floor with so it looks a bit tidier.

The bench is just sponge tbh and doesnt weigh as much as the back rests!

I stripped out the bench, back rests, parcel shelves and spare wheel and it weighed quite a bit! did notice a slight difference in a 1.4 sport but it looks wank in the back now, not to mention louder... not unbearable though. Can hear the petrol slushing about aswell!
