I am in need of a run around and my brother is going to be getting his first car in a month or so. So we are on the look out for something that I can use and then pass onto him.
We have come across an S reg corsa sxi in black. Standard very good condition, two owners service history and only 19,000 miles.
Its up for 1200 ono. what would you lot think its worth?

Offer 700, only if the condition matches the 19k miles though.

I wouldnt spend anything more than £500 on a "runaround". Any more and its just not a run around tbh.

I'd pay £1000 - £1200 easily. My car is on 93k and doesn't miss a bit. That will go on for years yet, as long as the shell & chassis is ok.
Well worth it, especially as it's local.

Doesn't have a cambelt, will be chain driven. Nothing that a good service won't sort out. And may be the oil injector or what ever it is for the chain, if it has one.
It could well be genuine - I've seen plenty about.
