KNOW

As said its not really going to be worth doing it. A c20xe will be more reliable and useable day to day.

How much are the engines from the Corsa VXRs selling for these days?

Courtenay do manifolds, similar cast items to the standard LET manifolds though.

Turbos, you'll need a T25....

U'll need to alter the compression... Courtenay done this previously done this by 3 head gaskets route

Realistically, your looking at £2k odd, which is bording a budget LET.

Whilst they are nippy, pull well, a LET is so much more the better engine. What with adding the weight of the turbo, IC etc etc, its not really havng the advantaged of a small block engine weight either.....

1.6, go Bodies route. If you want a turbo, go down the LET/LEH route.

If you want to do it cheap-ish get:

corsa vxr manifold and turbo
corsa vxr downpipe
oil filter relocation kit
sort out oil feed and oil return
maybe sort out coolant feed and cooland return to be safe
decompresion plate
ebay intercooler and pipework
maybe 5th injector setup
and hope for the best as regal do. Wont give you massive gains but hey ho. Done think regal even do a 5th injector and if they do the same as courtenay did they use 2 head gaskets to lower compression.
