Bit of a write up here (if you can be bothered to read it all)
http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?t=73433

Seems fairly well sorted, all bases covered. Must of set him back quite a bit

Looks like its still running the standard inlet? Cant be that impressive surely? Just looks like he's removed the plastic cover and put some gold roses chocolate wrappers around the intake pipe..
I'm skeptical about hte 427bhp claim!
My mates 370bhp (proven) Octavia (engine from the same parts bin) had an almost uncognisable engine bay and the Intercooler was almost ripping out of the bumper.

We're still waiting to be shown this 1.8 corsa being faster than a 2.0 as well.
There are loads of cars the standard inlet is good enough for big power, along with the standard airbox.

Queue 10 years of EVERYONE saying 400bhp is the max on a standard LET inlet manifold...
Then someone goes and pulls 500+bhp out the bag and shuts everyone up.
Don't believe everything you read/hear but "tuners"...
I'd say that guys gone into proper detail about tuning, not just wacking a huge turbo, big injectors n pump, and turning up the boost.......

Hang on a minute.. I've never made out that my car is anything special? I merely stated its quicker than a XE'd Corsa off the line to about 60 and I found the same with an old Integra TypeR? I am fully aware that its not a 'FAST' car, an XE corsa isnt a 'FAST' car either...
Its a Corsa, its just a toy..

You can still make decent power using a standard inlet manifold

I thought the Octavias were a 1.8? And FWD? the FWD bit doesnt make them any less powerful, but it makes 370 brake a little more pointless...

Do you actually know what you're talking about?!?
Twice the factory output for the S3 would be about 530BHP...

It was a fucking animal and totally pointless! Had a 6 speed TT box and an ATB, torque steered like it wanted to kill you.
I'm thinking of the earlier A3's that shared the same engine clearly they are using different blocks these days then I stand corrected!

They all use 2.0ts(f)i's these days, not the 1.8, which is a lower spec and a different engine from the old 1.8.

isnt the 2.0 a high compression 'low blow' engine?
