Just got a corsa through an MOT, and now it needs tax, as it's been stood still for 2-3 years.

One thing though, i've not got a printer, could I just write the insruance policy number down instead of printing a certificate out for tax and show the post office that?

Thanks

Yeah if you do it online it's very simple and you don't need MOT certificate (I know this because I lost mine).

You DO need an MOT though. The reason you can do it with out any paper work, MOT cert or Cert of insurance, is because there all on the super magical DVLA/Police database

Yes but you can only drive it for up to 5 days after your old 1 has expired.

So in this case its a no-no.
